Thanksgiving is an important time of year. We are reminded to slow down and focus on what we are thankful for and the blessings that have come our way. For our Valerie Fund families, the healthcare professionals who treat their children are at the top of these lists. At the recent Thanksgiving Ball Gala, we honored our Healthcare Heroes by spotlighting individuals from the different disciplines we provide in our Valerie Fund's Children's Centers.

The 29th Annual Thanksgiving Ball Gala is coming up on November 20th and we can't wait. Each year, The Valerie Fund chooses a group of ambassadors to represent the wide array of patients receiving treatment at one of our seven Valerie Fund Children's Centers. These ambassadors tell their stories of courage and perseverance to the attendees of the Thanksgiving Ball Gala.
Join us as we take a look at the second group of ambassadors who will be showcasing what being a Valerie Fund kid is all about.

Our annual CAREoke for the Kids brings together NYC's media industry for a karaoke competition to support kids battling cancer and blood disorders. 2020 changed things up as we went virtual for the first time.
On October 3rd, hundreds of Valerie Fund patients, families, and supporters came together virtually because we could not come together in person in Verona Park. COVID-19 was not going to stop The Valerie Fund Community, however, and The Virtual Valerie Fund Walk & JAG-ONE Physical Therapy 5K was both a first and a great success!
